early naturist description of a red wolf in the 1800s Drawing

Here is my depiction of a young early 1800 naturalist traveling in the unsettled wilderness of a young United states, seeing and then depicting his encounter with a red wolf. Using simple brown paper and a quill, he writes down his experience and then using a stick and turkey feathers, he hangs his drawing on the logged walls of his cabin. There in his old age, lit up by candle light, he relives that encounter again in his rustic log cabin. The red wolf of his youth now forever silent.
