In this work I tried to replicate the subtle soft feeling of skintones by not smudging or sketching, but rather by doing ultra-light pencil Washes over the surfaces I intended to cover. This worked out well, but It was near impossible to capture the perfection that is the body's largest organ. A living, regenerating shell that covers our bones and other organs. This work contains my usual representation of people as three-toned characters consisting of large black and white areas and small grey-areas.

Sancho is autistic (Asperger's Syndrome) and this often leads to an extreme focus on particular details within his work. Sancho's work is largely executed via pencil and paper thus carrying the associations of hard labour and time spent covering the page with a sharp point. His story is an unusual one and these works could be viewed as the result or expression of great pain. Certainly, there are signs of weaponry and sharp edges cutting through the images and the variations in the chequerboard background create the effect of disorientation. Inspired by Surrealism, he makes use of silhouetted female forms to provide soft curvaceous relief.
