Finished Treasure Drawing

Through this art, I attempt to show that time, intertwined with life, is a wealth that is neither inexhaustible nor recoverable. We all have a given time, and we must make good use of it wisely, as it will deplete quickly, like a fleeting breath. To illustrate this idea, I created an elderly person's hand holding a hourglass made of gold, emphasizing that time is of great value. Each time the sand descends from the upper part of the hourglass, our life is diminished, and we age; when it ends, it fades away. I used the cross-hatching technique with ink and gold leaf. I hope that this work contributes to a reflection on the brevity of something as valuable as life and emphasizes the need to use time wisely, avoiding spending it on frivolities.
