“The Journey starts with a line and ends in millions of dots." Artist Darshil (b.1986) is an accomplished architect, shaped into his understanding of correlations between cultures, design principles, and people by his profession. In 2009, he went through a rewarding experience. Darshil practiced Vipassana Meditation for a few days and that spiritual encounter made him fathom the critical connection of the universe with its beings, nature. The gratifying spiritual path provided insight, introspection and self-awareness. With this desire to explore life, he travelled around India, discovering philosophies, cultures, and regions leading to a strong realisation of the prominence of art in his life. Darshil uses pen on paper as a medium to cultivate geometric form, lines, and shapes as a means to showcase: strength, self-discovery, optimism and peace. He has successfully created hundreds of artworks as part of fifteen series. The artist lives and works in Goa.
