About The Artwork
This drawing belonged to a series of compositions I created between 2008-2009. As a lover of Cubism and its approach to deconstructing reality, my inspiration was drawn forth from color and the illusion of form into shallow space. There are instances when viewing the art where you come across a seemingly identifiable object and form only to be led to an area where form dissipates into mere an area of mere line, color, and texture.
