ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When I painted this artwork I was inspired by the geometric of the shadows and character of my small cusine. Sunlight, bows, textbook - it all looked like a memory from my own childhood I have made a lot of fotos with she and then painted this watercolor. Also I am very inspired by the art of Cartier-Bresson. Therefore, when I took a photo for this painting, I specifically looked for geometry in the play of light and shadow.
