I am an advanced amateur artist, based in Northern California. I mostly work in graphite pencil, and occasionally other mediums. I once had a dream of attending art school and moving to NY, but then had an identity crisis when applying for college and decided to study British/Irish Literature. Seemed more practical, at the time. Now all it's good for is if you quote Shakespeare at me I might be able to tell you what play it's from. And then we can talk about James Joyce. I recently rediscovered my love for graphite, and now I draw to stay sane.Generally I draw portraits, there is something about the human face that fascinates me. I'm currently working on developing some new more involved pieces, though.
