I am American. I was born in 1989 and grew up in DesMoines and Okoboji, Iowa. In high school, I participated in speech and theatre. I took a lot of art classes and was fortunate enough to be able to explore who I was before beginning to take life too seriously. I was awarded a scholarship and enrolled at UNI where I experienced many different forms of making art, finally deciding that printmaking and art history was what intrigued me the most. I exhibited my work in the 2013 BFA Group Exhibition at the UNI Gallery of Art. I have participated in nine group exhibitions and three solo exhibitions including the 1st Annual UNI Student Juried Art Exhibition, Hearst Center for the Arts, 2012; 24-Hour Performance, Department of Art, University of Northern Iowa, 2012; Vertigo Mini, Department of Art, University of Northern Iowa, 2011; and Vertigo-A-Go-Go, UNI Gallery, 2010.
