Indian Summer Drawing

october 2015 i was in nh with some really good people gathering over the loss of a friend to celebrate his spirit. we went to see a band play in his memory and everyone ended up taking some acid which was weird and fun and intense (as always). the next day, as somber as everything felt, we were blessed with a 70 degree day right in the middle of peak foliage. we spent that day at a beach on a lake laying in the sun and listening to our buddy play some of our favorite songs on his guitar. lots of emotion + genuine inspiration = one of my favorite pieces i've ever made. the term "indian summer" refers to a rare unexpected warm sunny day in autumn.
