Imagine a person who has always believed in their own talent, focus, determination, and has kept the pursuit of excellence as a motivating standard to always give their best with the talent they were given. Now, imagine this person inspiring and being known worldwide for the sum of values and great potential that we can extract from ourselves. Add to that, in the remotest corners of the planet, they are recognized and are a symbol of success and excellence. I am Brazilian, love what I do, the talent I have, and how much I want to improve every day. Imagine that the person I described in the previous paragraph is also Brazilian, born in the neighboring state to mine, and makes their example endure in the excellence that I also want to demonstrate by expressing my views through my talent and sensitivity. Pelé was not just a player to me; he was the symbol of how much power can be demonstrated in the talent that has been gifted to us. My homage in using such a simple material was the proposal to present the power contained in simple things but, when worked and guided with talent, results in representations polished with my art. It's a pity that I never knew if he saw this art or if he liked it or not, but I am happy to have made it while he was still alive.
