Born 1980 in Natick, Massachusetts.
I am a primarily self taught artist concentrating mainly in the world of fantasy. Dragons, gryphons and other assorted critters make up the vast majority of my work, although I do like to paint landscapes on occasion. My preferred medium is oils, and most of the original paintings that I have are done in that medium.
I enjoy the fantasy world, mainly because you are not bound by conventional idea and can let your imagination take flight (no pun intended). I'm drawn to dragons in particular, as they have special meaning to me in my every day life, and I admire the strength, ferocity and tenacity that this magical race of creatures is known for. I also draw upon the beautiful landscapes that abound in the area of Maine that I chose to live in, incorporating many aspects of that into my artwork.
