Christopher Gallego was born in New York in 1959. He studied at the School of Visual Arts and National Academy of Design in New York. He has exhibited at OK Harris Works of Art, Seraphin Gallery, Hirschl & Adler Modern and the New Britain Museum of American Art and the Rockefeller Fund among many other venues. He is the recipient of fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation, the Pollock Krasner Foundation and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
