Her academic background at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY built a solid foundation in art and design, which she builds upon as she cranks out new work everyday. Growing up in Trinidad gave her a unique understanding of color and vibrancy. Kim’s family moved to NYC when she was 8 years old. Her new environment taught her a whole new way of seeing things. Her art is a reflection of all these experiences, from the lush tropical colors of Trinidad to the edgy, sleek and diverse atmosphere of NYC. Design is her passion, her form of expression that she loves to share with others.
