ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Mark e's Myth: The musical iconoclast and renegade Mark E Smith of the band 'The Fall' passed away a couple of years ago, and this picture I made is the work of a true long-time fan of that band. Every album I own by them I've drawn in a semi-realistic-semi-naive way, a CD stack of an avid collector. Towards the bottom of the stack are a few other artists - contemporarys, peers and influences of The Fall. The pop style quality of this recognisable image of an older era of recorded media makes it a somewhat accessible picture even if you're not a fan or have never heard of the band.
