About The Artwork

"Morning#1" is an artwork that transcends mere visual representation to explore the mysteries of time and the perception of reality. In this drawing and watercolor, a young figure emerges from the delicate intersection between time and human experience. The protagonist, with her torso exposed, becomes a symbol of vulnerability and authenticity. Her gesture of lifting her hair, with one of her arms duplicated, evokes the duplicity of time: a reflection of how each moment unfolds and extends in multiple directions, filling our lives with possibilities and decisions. The title "Morning#1" suggests a new beginning, the awakening of consciousness to the fleeting nature of time. The morning, with its golden light and serene atmosphere, represents a moment of clarity and renewal. It is the instant when time comes to life, revealing the underlying truth in every experience. Through the multiplicity of the arm and the young woman's delicate gesture, the artwork invites us to reflect on the fluid nature of time and its role in shaping our perception of reality. It is time that molds our perceptions, that allows us to understand the complexity of the world around us. Ultimately, "Morning#1" reminds us that time is more than a chronological measure; it is a vehicle for understanding, a tool that helps us unravel the mysteries of existence and discover the ephemeral beauty of each moment.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
