ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Mulalah is the youngest Nobel Prize winner in history. She was shot multiple times, including the face, by the Taliban with an AK-47 assault rifle, at point-blank range, for trying to help young Afghani girls get an education. Surviving the ordeal she continued to pursue her goal. This recreation of a Time Life cover was a great opportunity to not only display this extraordinary young lady's spirit but the the minute details gave the artist much joy and pleasure in the attention to detailed his OCD craves.
