New Zealand Quail Drawing

I was born in Christchurch New Zealand. I live in North Canterbury with my husband and 3 children on a 650 hectare sheep and Beef farm.I have been painting and tutoring for 15 years now although art,drawing, sketching has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. At present I am very focused on social environment and love to paint people. I am inspired by any artists ability to evoke emotion by selecting interesting and challenging subject matter, however I am also a colorist and spend a lot of my time playing with color. I ask people to sit for me to get collections together for exhibitions. My artwork hangs in both public and private collections. I am also an art therapist tutor who works with Department of Corrections delivering art programmes to prison inmates in youth, drug rehabilitation, sex offender and mainstream units.
