PINK PELICAN Drawing

Years ago there was a beach in northern California near the town of Fort Bragg that was once used as the city dump. The towns people tossed their garage over the cliff onto the beach to be "recycled" by the ocean. Curb side pick-up and land fills were introduced and the ocean side city dump was no longer used. The beach became covered with polished bits of glass and is a now a visitor destination. Shorebirds, including pelicans skim the area to the delight of townsfolk and visitors alike. Of course none of the pelicans are pink, but I thought it might be fun if one just happened along to reflect some of the pink glass that may be glittering in the Pacific waves as they continue to clean up the mess that began as a city dump.
