This work was created using a custom built 'drawing machine' and consists of thousands of lines of ballpoint pen on paper. Each line drawn is an imperfect copy of the previous. As the imperfections accumulate they form patterns of density and mass. The finished image reflects the mathematical and mechanical precision of machine and code, modulated by the eccentricities of real world materials and processes.
