I am a full-time artist whose mediums are painting and poetry. I was born in Ukraine and currently live and work in Wales, UK. In my work, memory is a central theme - understood as roots, ancestral heritage, and a force that transcends the linear span of human life. Through my art, I explore belonging, kinship, and essence, reflecting on how these layers of memory shape identity and our sense of presence. The series expresses these ideas through symbolic and often surreal imagery. I explore the tension between the visible and invisible, the interplay of light and shadow, and the connection between the human and the cosmic, the natural and the archetypal. The works invite the viewer to reflect on their own inner worlds and the hidden threads of memory that connect us across time and space. My aim is to create immersive moments where the personal, ancestral, and universal meet, inviting contemplation, recognition, and a sense of shared memory.
