These two very poor young girls belong to a nomadic sect in India.They are in fact cousins and watch over each other....wise heads on young shoulders !! There life consists of travelling due to the nomadic lifestyle of their parents,who beg for work wherever they can. The reference photo for this coloured pencil drawing was taken by an Indian journalist friend,who kindly permitted me to use his photo for this drawing.I had hoped to donate the drawing to the girls but they are untraceable,unfortunately.
