I began experimenting with the drawing medium Conte Crayons. In my childhood I liked to draw. I was so lucky to be given Conte Crayons by my father. My older sister told me that she hated the drawings I made with my "rust colored" crayon. She said they were ugly. She also hated the Conte Crayons because there was a girl in her class named Marcella Conti who apparently wasn't nice to her. It took a long time before I began drawing with these Conte Crayons again. I found this stock photo of a nice looking man smiling. I thought he would be the ideal subject to start drawing with Conte Crayons.
