About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by my AP two dimensional exam's concentration theme which was "Femininity vs. masculinity". My aim was to contrast the two ideas of femininity and masculinity by showing harsh bruises on an otherwise pretty hand accessorized with jewelery while conjoining the two concepts to show that there is no such thing as "only feminine" and "only masculine".
