My name is Nadiia Zhebrakovska. I was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, a beautiful southern city by the Black Sea that has inspired many artists and writers with its unique atmosphere and cultural heritage. In 2011, I moved with my family to the Netherlands, and I currently live in the small town of Nieuw-Vennep. This peaceful place surrounded by nature has provided me with new sources of inspiration and opportunities for creative growth. I draw inspiration from mythology, psychology, and philosophy, as well as from fantasy literature and my love for horses. My ideas often emerge from ancient myths, while nature and the faces of people around me help me shape them into paintings. My work is a constant dialogue between imagination and reality. I have explored various materials and techniques, but my favorite medium is colored pencils combined with watercolor and pastels. These materials allow me to create deep textures, soft transitions, and details that bring my works to life and give them a unique character.
