Reborn Painting

Yujin L began drawing from a young age, majoring in Decorative Arts during her undergraduate studies and Painting in graduate school. She explores the intimate interaction between the inner world and nature through vivid colors and surreal spatial compositions. Her work reinterprets familiar everyday interiors into psychological and emotive landscapes, inviting viewers to confront their own inner visions. Utilizing the quick-drying properties and vivid pigmentation of acrylic paint, she harmoniously balances spontaneity with meticulous planning, delicately capturing the subtle flow of emotions in each brushstroke. In this process, she dissolves the boundaries between reality and imagination, expressing a “garden within the heart” imbued with inner peace and solace. Currently active, Yujin showcases her work through domestic and international art fairs and group exhibitions. Her practice combines traditional painting techniques with conceptual inquiries rooted in contemporary art, opening new dialogues between the viewer and the work. Through personal inner landscapes, she reveals universal emotions and explores the therapeutic potential of art in modern society. Going forward, she intends to continually expand boundaries and investigate the multilayered expressions and meanings of painting.
