Chris Frappier | Artist & Record-Breaking Weightlifter Art and strength come alive through Chris Frappier’s unique creative journey. As a Canadian artist based in Fergus, Ontario, Chris channels a passion for physical challenges and creative expression into each of his pieces. His work spans diverse mediums, from striking stone and wood sculptures to vibrant alcohol ink and acrylic paintings, all driven by his commitment to celebrating life’s victories—both in art and in strength. With 11 IAWA world records in weightlifting, including an incredible 500-pound Dinnie Deadlift and a record-breaking 442-pound trap-bar deadlift, Chris brings the same grit and focus to his art as he does to the lifting platform. Formerly a marathon runner who completed 13 marathons, including Boston, Chris has continually pushed his limits, a journey that now finds new expression in his artwork. After decades in the global printing and packaging industry, he left his role as a graphics manager to focus entirely on his artistic vision. His art captures the essence of resilience, strength, and imagination, inviting viewers to enter a world of bold forms and dream-inspired colours.
