Resilience - Original Drawing

During the stillness of lockdown I found inspiration to draw our natural world. I use the natural ancient medium charcoal; it allows me to be disciplined and precise with the capacity to get messy and play. I am currently working on a personal project highlighting the importance to protect those without a voice, to protect our endangered wildlife. As a charcoal wildlife portrait artist, I’m passionate about capturing the essence of animals. My work involves incorporating tattoos into my animal portraits, emphasizing the impact of humans on wildlife. Let’s explore how my art aligns with the Making It 2025 themes: Innovation: I take a modern approach by blending natural beauty with human-inspired art.
