Art Description

Drawing: Ink, Black & White on Paper.

Material: Ink on red Star Xuan rice paper

Introducing a new artwork of the "Flying, Flowing, floating and Waving" series

"Peace begins with a smile". Mother Teresa

The piece will be protected and shipped in a mailing tube.

Here, I used the word"Peace" in Arabic "السلام" and blend it with contemporary Arabic Chinese-style calligraphy.

In my work, I aim to give the alphabets in a word a 3 D and a natural waving effects as if the word is written with a waving scarf in air or a fabric flowing in the air. The word is finally captured as if it is in slow motion which is translated onto paper.

I have adopted ink style to reinterpret familiar concepts and creative languages with contemporary aesthetics and functionality.
I try to reach out to the spiritual and material status of people in a hope to develops a magical world that inspires us to see the world with new eyes. The meaningful abstraction-ism here creates the sense of past and present; of struggle and transformation.

I like the viewers to feel the energy and share the feeling of dignity, richness and beauty in my work. I invite the viewers to visualize the art work, to try to make the art work move by follow the brush strokes movements and fill up the space with their own imagination.
