Although it never abandons its materialization or “space of representation” that activates the relationship of the artistic object with the human being, as a recipient of the action of painting, delving at the same time into the object aspect, and its functioning as an apotropaic element, as a fetish that always accompanies us. Thing or element that establishes a sensitive relationship by making the invisible visible with the soul of the viewer. Always in search of a balance between aesthetic contemplation and poetic narrative. His work is deeply symbolic, lyrical and at the same time disturbing, it gravitates between memory and permanent exposure to new perceptual experiences. For Luis María Iglesia, color is a living energy that emphasizes the compositions, in a movement that oscillates between intimate questions and impulses of memory and history. His specialized studies in Graphic Techniques have influenced the research and application of new expressive formulas, creating images with multiple layers, while his experience as a Graphic Design teacher has formed a balanced use of color. His paintings are created from a deep sacred geometry often based on the patterns originated by metallic numbers, covered almost invisible behind fascinating layers, dramatic yet peaceful, strong and vibrant with space for quiet contemplation.
