About The Artwork
Sketchbook Journal Study I Mixed Media 40 X 30 inches unframed 43 x 33 inches framed (natural light wood museum frame) Oil paint marker on vintage journal, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, photos, collaged on linen. Inspired by antiques, glassware and vintage journals I've collected over the years. Drawing glassware and simple items on the vintage journal paper is a pass time. Later adding acrylic, watercolor along with vintage photographs transferred onto vellum. Working in this medium allows me freedom to create individual drawings and later revisit the works to compose a story.
