The "Stratum" series evokes the slow accumulation of a time which passes and which lasts, sedimented on the surface of the Earth, from stratum to stratum, well beyond our human temporality. "Stratum #3" is part of the "Deep Landscape" triptych.

My work is about the process of time passing through forms and transforming them. By observing, feeling, sketching the world, ideas of growing drawings sprout in mind like seeds. Each idea can be planted - directly on the walls, in the landscape, or on paper, cardboard... - and so the body draws and the drawing grows... A performative and meditative experience. The line is recording the flow of time, punctuated by the repetition of the graphic action, drawing the expanse of duration - a surface of time. Born in France. After my studies (Biology, Pedagogy, Art) I traveled and lived many years around the world, curious about nature, botany, arts, cultures, languages... I stayed and worked about ten years in Madagascar island. Back in France in 2012, I studied a master's degree in Art and wrote a university research paper on Sol LeWitt and wall drawing.
