Art Description

Drawing: Marker, Pencil, Ballpoint Pen on Paper.

I am an architect now. I am fascinated by the beauty of space and motorization since I was a littlle child. That is why I choose this subject for my drawings.
The drawing is made on a bold paper using markers, pencils and ballpoint pens. These tools provide clarity of color, depth, sharpness and longevity.
I love to create detailed, precisious art so I spent a lot of time on detailing it to get the best effect. I wanted to get the depth of a scenery and a sharpness. The drawing fels deep. The conrast is high to better show lights and shadows, which affect the magical atmosphere of the space shown.
The exact art shows a destroyed Warsaw of year 1944 after the Uprising which killed many of Polish patriots, mostly young people, even kids. The act of murder has been made by Germans and Russians. It was planned to kill the capital and finish the Polish case...
The drawing shows a murdered Poland, my autoportrait, original posters from the war times and the hope as a young girl. It is very very nostalgic for me.
The whole composition is set in a cold, grey tones in a nostalgic way
