Lula Goce was born in Baiona, Galicia. She grew up with salty air, homesickness, barnacles and dizzle. At 20 she moved to Salamanca and graduated in Fine Arts, spezialing in paiting. Meanwhile she paint like crazy and also took whatever additional courses she could find. She took part in competitions and scholarships related to the creative arts, performances, photography lad films. ! In 2000, She moved to Barcelona, driving her ambition to continue her studies as a visual artist. He began with Graphic Design in the BAU and Illustration in the DONA School. She decided to do a Ph.D. at the University of Barcelona (UB) and a Masters in Artistic Creation, and she took numerous courses in art production centres, like Hangar Barcelona or Matadero Madrid. ! Along all this time she have been and still am participating in art festivals, art events and exhibitions, both collective and individual, around the world. She have also participated in projects in art centres such as the Casa de las Conchas in Salamanca; the Santa Mónica Arts Centre in Barcelona and the CCCB, Barcelona; Zona Maco in Monterrey (Mexico), Marco Art Contemporany Museum in Monterrey; DDR projectts Gallery in Long Beach, CA, Inoperable Gallery, Viena. ! Her working life has always been linked to art, from graphic designer (the least artistic phase) to being a Collaborator and Producer in art projects with associations such as AAVC of Catalunya, the project “Curator Wanted” with the LaPinta, Barcelona. She also carried out independently commissioned projects with Barcelona Synapses in industrial and production workshops such as Caminal, She was producer in the LOOP’07 video art festival. Also She have done some work as an illustrator in publishing for Esquire magazine. She ́ve teached Graphic Design and Illustration at the ESERP University in Barcelona and in the Felicidad Dulde School of Fashion, dealing with the subjects of Analogue and Digital techniques and Illustration. Between one thing and another She am still finding time to work on development projects for the Fundacion Pedro Barrie de la Maza in Galicia. She also has collaborate with some of the most important Art Directors of the spanish film scene. ! She use to seek and find, but not always what she expected,. If she had to define herself within this eclectic world would say that in her work he fuse different disciplines. He would place her work within the field of design, installation and intervention in spaces.
