A buffalo is rarely alone. He is often accompanied by a bird. As different they are to each other, they are an inserparable couple, a symbiosis. The bird can be like a guardian for the buffalo, the buffalo serves as helper for the food search. This piece from the nature (as all parts are only out of fibers) is dedicated to the beautiful symbiosis in the nature.

Based a bit outside of Fort Portal, Uganda, Julius Murungi alias Art,eenyi has a small gallery together with his brother and a friend, where they produce their art pieces. The material is just outside in their garden: Banana fibers. Living in a developing country, where the unemployment rate is high, young people mostly hopeless, the chance to get a good living is low - to follow your passion and doing art, is a life changing decision. Especially as art is not known as a very life promising working field. Arteenyi, born 1995, decided to follow his passion in art, especially the art of banana fibers mosaic. With every piece made, the quality increased - nowadays to pieces like photographs.and much less with abstract fine composition for more info. check on my instagram @Julius-murungi
