ABOUT THE ARTWORK
While sitting at my desk, one afternoon, I decided to draw the face of a Native American elder which I had seen in one of my brother's photos. His expression struck me and I had to portray it. I like doing pencil sketches, because they are simple, and do not require much set up and materials. I can be very spontaneous with how I approach the drawings.
