ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This ink drawing is a depiction of how people have had a multitude of ideas about what God is throughout time. Some have used these ideas as a justification for violence and oppression, others have used their ideas to justify political motivations. Further still, there have been groups that have expressed their beliefs peacefully. All these different ideals and beliefs are ultimately to befall the same fate as they are all make-believe but most people are too afraid to admit this. Thus, they would be just as well off to believe in the Cheshire cat as their own chosen God, because ultimately it would lead to the equivalent end.
