Impressed me a simple drawing of reeds and their reflection in the water. The calm of lake, the silence and the simplicity of the drawing which I saw and I moved on the paper used the simplest means.

I started drawing before I even learnt to speak. I was drawing on all walls in my house and every single clean piece of paper that got into my hands. When I was a child my dream was to have an endless amount of paper to be able to express my childhood dreams and visions of the world by way of my drawings. When I decided to go to Arts Secondary School, and then to University, I didn't think of becoming an artist, I was only glad that I chose a school where the thing I love doing - creating art- will be my main duty. In visual arts the most important thing for me is the visual message, an idea, a thought which everyone has a chance to read regardless of the language they speak or the cultural background they come from. It is a message on universal values, relations between people and their emotional state, an attempt to present all the things that seem to us plain, normal and usual in an unusual way. I highly value oil paintings because it gives me a huge variety of technical means for creating a picture in which I can express everything I want. From soft touches of brush and gentle, subtle diffusion of colours to sharp, dynamic hits of palette knife and sharp, intense contrasts. I look for inspiration either within myself, my imagination and emotions or outside as well. The theme of my art can be everything, landscape outside a window of speeding car, people's talk sitting at the next table in a pub, theatre piece, music, particular kind of light. I often grab my brushes in order to express my attitude to something or someone. It is to allow me to speak through my paintings if words can't be found."
