2nd work in my vicarious series. This one explores the fact that everything you see on a computer is simply an assemblage of pixels and bits that can be easily manipulated.

My work centers around modern man's ever growing symbiosis with computerized technology. I explore everything from our constant attachment with our cellphones to the ever-lowering barrier between reality and virtuality. Most of my subjects are caught in the process of using their devices, exhibiting blank stares and bored expressions. My generation sees the world through a computer screen. I reference this by suggesting pixels in my figures as well as painting the background a solid glossy black that provides a reflective surface that is reminiscent of an in-active computer screen.
