Although born and raised in Houston, TX, artist Courtney Adams has never limited himself as an artist, by expanding his artistic vision with influences stemming from all parts of the world. During his time period in college at the Atlanta College of Art (currently called SCAD Atlanta in Atlanta,GA) he developed his own style in which he copyrighted with the Library of Congress called " Cubo-Expressionistic Primitivism" in which he blends qualities of French Cubism, German Expressionism, and African Primitivism. This style in which he created a series of paintings titled " The 6 Colors of Emotions" debuted at the Woodruff Arts Center Gallery in Atlanta,GA in March of 2004. art. Aside from showing his work to International Audiences in several countries, Adams is also an accomplished musician and has produced/worked with musical acts on the west coast as a songwriter under SESAC.
