ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was a study of a photograph I sourced online. My desire to recreate it through my own eyes with nothing but pencils on paper was strong and I completed it in 14 hours. It is the child of a strong passionate father with an unstoppable urge to create. I chose to use graphite as it's hard in stature but soft in appearance. After 10 years of drawing with pencils, I am finally in control.
