Touch-me-not Drawing

This is a woman who does not let anyone close to her, keeping everyone at a distance. Any touch is unacceptable for her. But there is a reason for that. Her past left too many imprints on her body. I was inspired for this drawing by my own history of the past. I can say that I am the same except that I don’t avoid touching, but penetration into the soul. Fingerprints in this illustration represent the marks left after being touched. The dark color was not chosen by chance, because every touch is a painful experience, which, like a dirty spot, remained on the chest. The woman's face is resolute and not a shadow of doubt. It does not show a hint of weakness, while behind the back and on the chest (in the soul) there are so many black spots, mercilessly left by people. Thus, I can say that this is a picture of persistence and steadfastness. It motivates us to go forward despite the fact that the past is always with us and temptingly pulls us into the abyss
