MILE SKRACIC was born in Murter in 1933. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts and the Pedagogical Academy in Split, and then the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of Professor Sime Peric. He studied in Paris on several occasions. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He has been awarded many times for his work. He worked as a professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Philosophy in Split. The works are found in numerous museums and private collections at home and abroad. He died in 2013.
