ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of serie "finding form for floating" In my practice I am inspired by big theme’s. Such as the hydrological cycle of water. The erosion of earth by forces like wind water and sun. But mostly drawn to mining, where we as humans dig and dig for treasures. Taking down whole mountains or creating giant holes and leaving behind scarred Land The Korean Zenmaste Kyeongbong once said: “People that don’t know there true self. Live like blind. They scratch unintentionally other ones leg. If you like to scratch your own leg, you first need to wake up to your true self”
