Luisa Garau se licencia en Bellas Artes en la Facultad San Jordi de la Universidad de Barcelona en 1995. Durante su estancia en Barcelona realiza también cursos de Diseño Gráfico. Ese mismo año obtiene una beca por Centro Tecnológico Internacional de Educación CITE - del `London College of Printing’ homologado por The London Institute para realizar el Master of Art in Interactive Multimedia en la UIB, Universitat de les Illes Balears. Desde 1998 es alumna de Víctor Andreu de la Asociación Cultural Algaida Molí d’en Xina del Aula d’Humanitats cursando infinidad de cursos hasta la actualidad. Alumna de Joaquim CHANCHO y PIJUAN en BB.AA., alumna de Joan Barbarà, George Donald y Digby Maass en Talleres Miró en la Fundación Pilar i Joan Miró y alumna de Jukka Packalén del `Theatre Finland Academy’. Como pintora ha realizado exposiciones individuales y colectivas en Palma de Mallorca, Algaida, Sóller, Llucmajor, Ses Salines, Montuiri, Gijón (Asturias) y Pontevedra (Galicia). Ha trabajado en empresas de prestigio de Arte, Producción Multimedia e Internet y Educación. Desde el 2003 está dedicada a su obra, pintura y proyectos relacionados con el arte.
