I have always also been a political artist. Following the US elections and how it was tried to discredit the democratic elections has inspired me to do this drawing. It was made in the beginning of 2020 and turned out to be visionary. Pencil on high quality Römerturm paper.

His works can be both funny and serious, sometimes a bit sarcastic and sombre, sometimes hilarious. Diego Castro is also known as a writer and rock-musician and teaches art theory at university.
