acollectionofflowww Flow is everywhere, always, sometimes it’s physical like the movement of water other times it’s invisible like smell. it’s is the very essence of the natural world. Utilizing ballpoint pens I begin saturating the paper, digging, scratching, and stretching the ink in ways that it was not intended to be used. It’s almost as if I’m tattooing the paper. The technique I’ve developed creates an unexpected depth not previously explored using other more conventional approaches. Line by line, the flow of the ballpoint pen transforms the paper into something deeper. The process yields a depth of layers, rich texture, and a vivid sense of movement.
