Hi, I'm Kabir, a coloured pencil artist from Mumbai, India, currently studying at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. I specialize in hyperrealism, using coloured pencils to create highly detailed works that often blur the line between drawing and photography. My journey with art has always been rooted in patience and observation. I was drawn to hyperrealism not just for its visual impact, but for what it demands—discipline, endurance, and a deep respect for the craft. It’s about slowing down in a world that moves too fast, and paying close attention to the quiet details that most people miss. While I sometimes use digital tools to plan or reference compositions, every final artwork is executed traditionally with coloured pencils. I spend hundreds of hours layering pigment, building texture, and chasing precision—always with the intention of creating something that feels alive and emotionally present. Studying at the Florence Academy of Art has shaped the way I understand form, light, and anatomy, and it's helped me push the boundaries of what’s possible with my chosen medium. Being surrounded by classical training and timeless techniques has added depth and structure to the way I work. My goal is to continue evolving as an artist, to remain a student of the craft, and to create work that speaks quietly but powerfully. Whether you're here as a collector, fellow artist, or simply curious—thank you for taking the time to explore my work.
