About The Artwork

This installation is intended as a tribute to the Italian poet Amalia Guglielminetti (1881-1941) and was realized in 2016 in Agliè on the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of the poet Guido Gozzano, whom she was in love with. The installation recalls the dresses, hats and umbrellas that Amalia used to wear and her favorite colors: violet and black.
