Mattheos Papavasiliou is an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at NTUA Athens. He teaches architectural composition at the Department of architectural design. He has participated in many architectural competitions in Greece and worldwide, receiving several awards for his projects. He practices architecture since 1989. Co-founder of “Entasis architects” with the architect K. Karvountzi. As a student in NTUA he studied painting under the tutorship of Vlassis Kaniaris, Sotiris Sorogas and Vana Xenou. His paintings are mostly abstract compositions based on mixed techniques, using acrylic on canvas, paper and burlap. Since 2011 he has incorporated Arduino technology in his work.
