light og Dragon
Since immemorial time defeating the Dragon had been considered the highest degree of bravery, the Force. But, there are not enough Dragons for everyone (and for no reason) so I created my own Dragon. The Dragon was made from Metal. The Chinese Dragon was the closest thing to me in mood and character. It is the embodiment of strength, wisdom, the guardian of the hearth. There is no anger in it, as well as it is difficult to call it defenseless.
The idea was that the Dragon lived in the room where he would hang in the future. For him, the walls are not a barrier. He enters and exits the wall freely, intertwined with rings. Each flake of it shines in the dark moonlight, turning into heat in the middle of the body and reducing the light in its tail.
The work was done by one master, so it acquired character and a part of his soul.
The dragon is not afraid of precipitation, but it will be more comfortable and cozy inside the restaurant hall or hotel lobby.
The size of the dragon fits into any wall. The minimum size is 3.7 meters, and then it will be nice to move the parts apart from each other. Optimal 4.3 meters.
The weight of each part is about 100-120 kg. The weight of the tail is about 70 kg. Which allows it to be attached to any wall.
Installation is very simple: the dragon hangs on a pin in the wall like clothes on a hanger. Under its weight it will not slide anywhere. And a pin nailed down below won't let it spin.
It's made only of metal by hot forging, chasing. The frame is made of round timber with diameter from 6 to 10 millimeters.
The top is covered with scales. Thickness of scales is 3-4 mm. This thickness was chosen in proportion to the size of the Dragon.
The number of scales ceased to count when they were over five hundred.
The Dragon was painted in several stages. First, the soil was applied...
gray. He's got a church coloring in black. Then patination in 3-4 layers of gold patina, copper, silver and turquoise. After varnishing in several layers.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

My work develops all the time, but focuses on what attracts me. Whether it's realistic views of the world around us or fabulous, mystical characters. The process of working with steel is not planned, but rather intuitive; the result comes from imagination, shape, structure, and colouring. I don't follow templates, but if necessary, I use all the metal working techniques I know. To get from an inanimate piece of iron by fire and hammer, forge, close to the natural plasticity and beauty of harmonious products. I do not copy the nature, but I try to focus on what is fused in the soul, what I want to share. My work is a journey, my goal is to inspire, to cause a reaction for which sometimes no explanation is needed.
